On June 7, Prof. Dr. Levente Kovács, the rector, met with Alibek Eshev, the Vice Rector for International Relations at the Karshi Engineering-Economics Institute in southern Uzbekistan, to discuss engineering and economic education.
“We signed a cooperation agreement with the Karshi Engineering-Economics Institute, located in one of Uzbekistan’s largest cities in the southern region, in April 2024,” stated Prof. Dr. Levente Kovács. “During this visit, we discussed potential cooperation opportunities, including student and faculty mobility,” added the rector.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Monika Pogátsnik, Vice Dean of the Alba Regia Technical Faculty, Prof. Dr. Levente Kovács, Rector of Obuda University, Alibek Eshev, Vice Rector for International Relations (Karshi Engineering-Economics Institute), and Emese Baranyi, Head of the International Relations Office (from left to right).
The Karshi Engineering-Economics Institute offers bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral programs across its six faculties – Economics, Engineering Technology, Geology and Mining, Oil and Gas, Energy, and Engineering Sciences.
