Transnational Computational Life Sciences program design

Researchers of Obuda University participated an international Erasmus+ project aimed at creating new joint master’s degree program, increasing the connectivity between members in the ecosystems and building a fertile environment for entrepreneurship (new innovative businesses; new research-based jobs and positions). The students successfully graduating in this master’s degree program will be awarded with two diplomas in Computer Science, even though the program is interdisciplinary.

The project, Computational Life Sciences Master Degree Program Design (CompLife) received grant from the European Commission under the Erasmus+ program. The project was coordinated by the Varna Free University “Chernorizets Hrabar”.

During the project, specific teaching and examination technics, student selection procedures, examination and evaluation procedures, a joint degree policy, and the documents for national accreditation are prepared. Universities will apply for approval at relevant national authorities (including accreditation for distance form of education in some of the countries).

The vision of partner universities is to use the results, deliverables from the CompLife project (the collaborating transnational team, set of documents, and methodology) for the application in other Erasmus+ calls.
